For one of the hottest months of the year, we're learning about those all-too-famous hot and sunny French wine regions: welcome to Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas! These appellations in the Southern Rhone are primarily known for their delicious blends of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, and the white varietals (though rare) are just as spectacular.
